How do I prepare my car for fitting decals?

All vinyl without exception needs to be fitted to a clean and dry surface. The only exception is some large 'sheet' decals which water can be used.

The paint surface must be cleaned and all traces of polish, ceramic coating or similar be removed.

These products are designed to stop dirt/debris sticking to them. This would also include glue on vinyl decals.

Once these products are removed from the paint surface any vinyl decal will stick without a problem and if fitted correctly stay on for a long period of time.

A certain level of competency is also required when fitting.
